As a part of the Software Integration Group’s suite of solutions, InterPlex is able to offer Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) to our clients. The objective of BAM is to increase competitiveness and rapid, well informed decision making. Information management, and particularly information visualization, plays an important role in this.

BAM is based on the simple premise that business is continuously producing information related to marketing, sales, production, logistics, and financial operations. This information often remains unnoticed or under-utilized until it's too late, because traditional information services don’t operate in real time or issue alarm signals when a potentially anomalous or problematic situation arises.

The key to BAM is:

determining the appropriate business indicators that form the foundation for the monitoring activity of the business activity available,

acquiring the indicator composition data in real time, and

analyzing the data so that it may be interpreted in a meaningful way; and

integrating the indicators into an interface that provides a clear visualization of the business state.

BAM is one of the key applications of the technologies employed by InterPlex’s Software Integration Group.
