Broadly speaking, software integration involves the management of information by seamlessly integrating disparate sources of data and presenting it to the user in a manner that reflects the business process at hand. Traditionally InterPlex’s expertise is the melding of legacy and packaged applications. More recently, InterPlex has developed mobile solutions that provide wireless information exchange.

One of InterPlex’s key philosophies is, If we can find a product, service or piece of software done well by a group outside our firm, we should partner with that firm. On this basis, InterPlex has developed, and continues to develop, a strong group of alliance partners to compliment its core skill set. Clients can be assured that the solutions being offered are delivered by a highly skilled group of professionals that are knowledgeable in their specialties and can guarantee project success. This saves our clients time and money.

InterPlex’s professional staff is able to offer solutions that encompass the broad range of hardware and software technologies in use today. Since most of our customers use Microsoft applications in their day to day activities, we are a Microsoft Certified Partner. We are also aware, and understand, that many of our customers still use Unix, DEC/VAX, and iSeries systems, and want to migrate toward open systems based on Linux. Therefore, we also offer expertise with Java and many open source products.

Our fundamental programming strength lies in the two major development frameworks available: Sun Microsystems Java and Microsoft .NET. Employing these technology concepts we create software solutions for Windows, Unix, DEC/VAX, iSeries, and Linux, as well as cross-platform applications. InterPlex generally uses the .Net framework because it is the most logical solution to incorporate with Microsoft products that are typically found in small-medium enterprise computer environments.

Our data management skills extend across the standard group of enterprise databases (Microsoft SQLServer, Oracle, Sybase), as well as open source (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and desktop databases (Microsoft FoxPro and Access).
