InterPlex’s goal with wireless technology is to provide synergy between:

wireless connectivity

wireless testing;

wireless training;

wireless back office management; and

software integration development;

InterPlex will use its skills and experience as a technology integrator to meet these objectives to a level of quality that few other Wireless Internal Service Provders (WISPs) are in a position to offer. InterPlex will achieve this by:

Building a backbone wireless network that provides connectivity to bulk users such as business and government sites, and channel resellers for the residential and small business market. The backbone will be developed to initially offer fixed and portable wireless service, but will also be designed to enable a smooth transition to mobile wireless service when the technology permits;

Forming alliance partnerships with WISPs, whereby they become channel resellers for InterPlex and rely on the connectivity and/or back office management services provided by InterPlex. The channel reseller would be responsible for developing the residential market and small business market. This will permit InterPlex to concentrate on the deployment of a well designed and supported backbone, and allowing local people to service their local community.This is a key customer service benefit that WISPs have over the traditional telco providers.

Building the Wireless Training (& Testing) Center (WTC) to provide training and testing facility for channel resellers, equipment vendors, business and government. The objective of the WTC is to provide specialized and practical training to interested parties in the wireless space. The WTC shall be a "for profit" facility with alliance partnerships between academia and industry. It will provide channel resellers with the technical and management knowledge in order to grow their local WISP business. It will also be a natural place for knowledge exchange between the various partners, academia, equipment vendors, business, government and InterPlex.

Providing back office management services to channel resellers and other parties. Services would include billing, network (security and performance) monitoring, and specialized applications such as Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP). This would allow channel resellers to focus on customer service and not have to be specialists in every single technical area of the wireless market in order to stay competitive.

Offering software integration services to promote the development of solutions for mobile information exchange.
